QLD – Cricket – Knight Riders threaten to dethrone Super Kings at Cairns

The Super Kings have been issued a serious threat in the Friday Premier League Cricket at Cairns, with the Knight Riders handing the competition leaders a 61-run defeat in what shapes as the most serious challenge to the Kings’ reign so far.

Led by Lachlan Naess, the Riders got stuck into the Super Kings with little ado, hampering their opponents’ innings with some precise bowling before blasting their way through the Kings’ attack.

The Riders will be looking to continue their efforts in their fixture against the Sunrisers this week.
